The Sanremo Festival welcomed an emotional performance on its stage, featuring Rocco Hunt and rapper Clementino. During the evening of covers, the two artists chose to perform a song in Neapolitan, paying homage to one of the greats of Italian music, Pino Daniele.
The song performed by Rocco Hunt is "Yes I Know My Way ," a tribute not only to Pino Daniele, but also to the vibrant culture of the city of Naples. With this choice, the Neapolitan language returns to the Festival stage, testifying to the importance of Neapolitan musical heritage and involving another artist with the same roots, Clementino.
The performance aroused strong emotion among the spectators, who at the end of the medley responded with thunderous applause for Rocco Hunt and Clementino, recalling the memory of Pino Daniele. The performance demonstrated how his music continues to touch hearts and unite artists.
Pino Daniele thus confirms his role as a central figure of the festival, thanks not only to Hunt and Clementino's performances. Massimo Ranieri will also perform a tribute to Pino, singing " Quando " with Neri per Caso. Furthermore, Serena Brancale has already revealed that her song "Anema e Core" is a tribute to the maestro, who has always inspired her to sing in dialect.
