The investigations have reconstructed the dynamics and responsibilities relating to the murder, providing objective evidence to the statements made in this regard by numerous collaborators of Justice, including the self-incriminating ones made by the recipient of the provision himself.

The victim of the murder, at the time of the events a member of the criminal group active in the municipality of Cercola, was surprised near his home by a fire commando, led by the person who had been arrested, and killed with numerous gunshots.

The current dangerousness of Vincenzo Sarno emerged, among other things, from a very recent road check carried out on him in the Naples area, following which he was reported at large for the illegal possession of a gun.
