Eni and Enel announce 50% savings on electricity and gas bills: savings of up to €200 per year

Rome – After capping diesel and gasoline prices, Eni has announced new offers that will reduce bills by 50%. Enel echoes the multinational's announcement, announcing the same discount on electricity prices: "It is the lowest offer on the national market among the leading operators. For the average family (2MWh per year), a discount of €200 per year compared to the wholesale price," according to a statement released by Enel.

The promotions, also launched to 'capture' new customers, should be in effect starting in October.

The multinational company with the six-legged dog launched the innovation, defining it as a "new contribution to Italian families as part of the Eni for Italy initiative, aimed at helping citizens cope with high energy prices."

The six-legged friend's statement announced that, starting October 1st and for customers who sign up for the offer through Plenitude by October 24th, the group will offer a 30% discount on electricity and gas bills compared to the main fixed-price plan, with the price locked in for two years. This discount, it should be noted, is worth approximately €100 per year on the gas contract and the same amount on the electricity contract, for a total of approximately €200 with the price locked in for two years.
