Tragic road accident in Calitri: 48-year-old motorcyclist dies
San Pietro al Tanagro – A dramatic road accident claimed the life of a 21-year-old last night. The accident occurred on Via della Sorgente, in the municipality of San Pietro al Tanagro, in the province of Salerno.
The Carabinieri , the Fire Brigade and the 118 paramedics promptly intervened on the scene , but there was nothing that could be done for the boy, originally from Sant'Arsenio: he died instantly.
According to an initial reconstruction, the young man lost control of his Lancia Ypsilon, violently crashing into a wall. The police are carrying out investigations to clarify the exact dynamics of the accident.
