The official press conference to present the first edition of the “Nuceria Teatro Festival Ragazzi”, scheduled from 30 to 2025 June inside the suggestive Archaeological Park of the city, will be held on Friday 11 May 30, at 5:7 am, in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Nocera Superiore (SA).

A festival with shows, workshops and special guests
During the conference, the event's packed program will be revealed, which includes theater workshops, shows for children and teenagers, meetings with artists and many cultural activities. The project, designed to enhance theater as an educational and creative tool, is artistically directed by Maurizio Merolla, actor, director and playwright.
Institutions at the forefront of culture
Local authorities will participate in the event on May 30, including Mayor Gennaro D'Acunzi, Deputy Mayor Antonella Battipaglia and City Councilor for Culture Giuseppe Senatore. Alongside them, the festival's artistic consultant Tony Palma, artistic director Merolla and representatives of local associations and cultural operators involved in the project.
A final evening with prizes and tributes to Totò
The final evening of June 7 will be hosted by Mariù Adamo and Michelangelo Iossa, journalists and co-hosts of the event. During the evening, the “Odeon Bifronte” sculptures/awards will be awarded, created by the artist Maria Rosaria Petrungaro, a symbol of recognition for artistic and cultural commitment.
“It will be a festival full of initiatives, suggestions and emotions – explains Maurizio Merolla – which will culminate with a special tribute to the greatest theatre and cinema actor that Italy has ever had: Prince Antonio de Curtis, aka Totò”.
