Casoria – After the city councilor Rino Trojano (pictured) joined the PSI, taking on the role of city secretary of the aforementioned party, the first reactions were not long in coming.
This morning, news broke that the civic group headed by Tommaso Casillo , which includes city councilors Pasquale Tignola, Giuseppe Barra, Roberta Giova, Marianna Riccardi, Cinzia Capparrone, Angelo Russo, and Antonio Petrone, has expelled councilor Trojano from the movement, deeming his membership in the PSI incompatible with remaining in the Campania Libera group.
Now we need to understand the political reactions of the other members of the coalition in the face of a weakening of Campania Libera, which holds most of the positions within the administration and acts as playmaker of the administrative action.
Even if in any case Casillo's list remains the one with the highest number of councilors expressed in the council. Certainly these internal fibrillations in Campania Libera do not benefit Mayor Bene who has in the Campania Libera list his main ally and founder of the coalition that saw him win for the second term.
We will have to wait and see the consequences, in a political scenario that will become increasingly heated as the regional elections approach.
