Naples: Fire in Via Ferrara overnight, destroying two cars and two scooters

Naples – A fire involving two cars and two scooters, all completely destroyed, occurred on Via Ferrara, where Carabinieri and firefighters responded to extinguish the flames and secure the area.

The fire left behind only the wreckage of the four vehicles. This incident is now being investigated by the Naples Stella Company, called upon to reconstruct the exact circumstances and, above all, the origin of the blaze.

The hypothesis of malice

Among the avenues being considered by investigators, arson has not been ruled out. Technical investigations and the possible acquisition of footage from surveillance cameras in the area will determine whether anyone deliberately set the fire.

And the number of vehicles involved is one of the factors investigators will have to carefully evaluate. Two cars and two scooters destroyed in the same incident make it necessary to determine whether it was an accidental fire that spread from one vehicle to the others or a deliberate act.

The possible target: one of the owners

For now, one question remains at the heart of the investigation: if the fire was started intentionally, who was the real target?

The personal element has not been ruled out, especially since one possible investigative scenario is that the attack was directed against a person, not simply the vehicles. If some of the vehicle owners live in the area, investigators will need to investigate any previous conflicts, disagreements, threats, or other situations that could provide a clue to the fire.

It's still too early, however, to determine a motive. What's certain is that the flames struck multiple vehicles simultaneously and that all were destroyed. This detail could be significantly weighted if the investigations confirm the fire's intentional nature.

The investigations

The Carabinieri are now working to gather all the necessary information to reconstruct what happened. Particular attention may be paid to the images from the area's video surveillance systems, the location of the four vehicles, and any evidence collected by the firefighters during their inspection.

The goal is to determine whether the fire was started deliberately and, if so, who might have been targeted. At this time, however, other possibilities have not been ruled out, and the investigation is continuing without neglecting any leads.
