Dan Ndoye is officially a new Nottingham Forest player. The 2000-born Swiss striker, coming off a strong season with Bologna and scoring the winning goal in the Coppa Italia final , has said yes to the English club's project, signing a five-year contract.
The €40 million offer was decisive, surpassing Napoli's, leaving the Neapolitan club empty-handed. "It's a really exciting time for Nottingham ," Ndoye said, " and I knew straight away that I wanted to be part of this team. It's an ambitious club with a significant history. I can't wait to get started."
The transfer marks another transfer window defeat for Italian football, with the Premier League continuing to dominate thanks to its financial clout. Forest thus secured a rising talent, while Bologna earned a record fee for him.
