A drug dealer traveling from Caivano was arrested in the Caserta nightlife scene.

Caserta– A 49-year-old man from Caivano was arrested yesterday afternoon, August 26, in the heart of Caserta, caught by the Carabinieri of the Mobile Radio Section with a shipment of drugs ready for sale.

The pusher , already known to law enforcement, was stopped while suspiciously zigzagging his car through the city center streets. A quick insight by the officers transformed a routine check into a drug bust.

After a brief tail, the Carabinieri stopped the vehicle and searched the driver. The result? A haul of 3,1 grams of crack and 2,6 grams of cocaine, already divided into doses destined for the local market.

Along with the drugs, the police seized €265 in cash, small denomination bills that left little doubt: the money was most likely the proceeds of drug dealing. All the material was confiscated, while the 49-year-old was handcuffed and taken to the Caserta Police Station.

Today the man will appear before a judge for the fast-track hearing, charged with illegal possession of narcotics.

The arrest is part of a broader strategy of territorial control, with the Carabinieri engaged in combating the rampant drug dealing phenomenon in the city's most sensitive urban areas. This coup sends a clear signal: the fight against drugs continues.
