Carabinieri checks in the Caserta area: reports, seizures, and fines in Casal di Principe and the surrounding area.

Widespread checks began early this morning in the Casal di Principe Carabinieri company's territory, engaged in an extraordinary crime prevention and suppression operation. The operation involved several municipalities in the area and focused on monitoring individuals under restrictive measures, verifying gun owners, and ensuring compliance with traffic laws.

During the operations, 39 vehicles and 58 people were checked. The checks resulted in 23 fines being issued for traffic violations, the administrative seizure of three vehicles, and the criminal seizure of two mopeds.

Several cases also led to charges. In Villa Literno, a 33-year-old man was stopped while riding an Aprilia Scarabeo moped with an unidentifiable frame and was charged while at liberty. In the same municipality, a 32-year-old was charged with receiving stolen goods and money laundering after being caught on a Piaggio Sfera with a modified frame.

In Casal di Principe, a 20-year-old man was charged with possession of weapons or offensive objects after being found in possession of a switchblade. A 20-year-old man of the same age, living in the same municipality, was also charged with violating a ban on entry (DASPO) order, having been stopped in an area he was prohibited from entering.

Another arrest involved a 32-year-old from Casapesenna, who was reported for driving under the influence of drugs after testing positive while driving a Smart. Finally, in Casal di Principe, a 24-year-old was reported for driving without a license, which he had never obtained, while driving a Peugeot 308.

At the same time, in Cancello Arnone, the Carabinieri of the local station, with the support of LIPU guards, conducted a targeted anti-poaching operation. During the operation, a 40-year-old man from Casandrino was reported for hunting during a quiet hunting season using prohibited electro-acoustic decoys. The man was also found in possession of weapons and ammunition, which were subsequently seized along with the illegal devices.
