A bloody Easter in Ischitella: a 20-year-old from Casoria was stabbed outside a nightclub.

Castel Volturno – A festive evening turned into a nightmare of violence. This is the dramatic outcome of what happened last night, Easter Sunday, on the Domitian coast.

A boy of about 20 years old originally from Casoria was stabbed outside the La Selvetta nightclub, located in Ischitella, a hamlet in the municipality of Castel Volturno, in an incident that once again highlights the issue of safety related to nightlife.

The fight in the queue

According to initial reports by law enforcement, tragedy struck while dozens of young people were waiting their turn to attend an Easter party. For reasons still under investigation, a violent altercation erupted, culminating in an armed attack.

Prompt intervention and arrest of the attacker by the police

The worst was averted thanks to the prompt intervention of law enforcement officers who arrived on the scene. By moving quickly and gathering initial testimonies, the police officers were able to identify and apprehend the alleged perpetrator before he could flee.

Investigators are now trying to determine whether the two young men had previous disagreements or whether the fight broke out completely spontaneously, fueled by tension and the crowd at the nightclub entrance.

The initial medical response was dramatic, however. The massive influx of cars due to the nightlife and holidays literally paralyzed traffic along the Lungomare Domizio. The general confusion and gridlock severely hampered the arrival of the 118 ambulances, sirens blaring, making rescue operations more difficult and delaying medical treatment for the injured young man.
