Naples: The NEST Kiosk, a new hub for theater and social inclusion, opens in Piazza Garibaldi.

Naples is enriched with a new cultural and social space in the heart of Piazza Garibaldi. On Friday, May 29th, at 9:30 a.m., the NEST Napoli Est Teatro – Est(ra)Moenia Kiosk will be inaugurated. This initiative, promoted by NEST and Est(ra)Moenia, aims to transform one of the city's busiest areas into a place of encounter, theater, and inclusion. The opening event will feature a musical performance by artist Emanuele Ammendola and a theatrical reading by Niu Teatro.

The kiosk will not be a simple information point, but a true local cultural hub, dedicated to promoting the performing arts as tools for social cohesion and active citizenship. Among the first initiatives planned is the "Teatro Sospeso" project, inspired by the Neapolitan tradition of "caffe sospeso" (suspended coffee). It will allow people to purchase and donate tickets for shows, workshops, and other cultural activities for vulnerable people.

In addition to theatrical performances, the center will offer meetings with artists, performances, free activities, and awareness campaigns aimed at the public, with a particular focus on young people and vulnerable communities. This initiative is part of the broader "Bella Piazza" project, aimed at the urban and cultural regeneration of the area, with the goal of restoring social and cultural vitality to Piazza Garibaldi and strengthening the connection between the historic center and the eastern part of the city.
