Porta Capuana: 55-year-old arrested and facing over five years in prison for tax crimes.

Naples – During a territorial control operation, the State Police stopped a 55-year-old man last night on Via Carriera Grande, at the corner of Via della Bolla, in the Porta Capuana district.

The man was checked by officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid, who found against him a prison order issued on June 8 by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Naples – Criminal Enforcement Office.

The order stipulates that the 55-year-old must serve a remaining sentence of 5 years, 9 months, and 6 days in prison for crimes related to violations of customs regulations and VAT regulations.

After investigations, the man was arrested and taken to prison by police officers. These operations are part of efforts to combat economic and financial crimes in the city of Naples.
