Napoli – Aurelio De Laurentiis paid tribute to Antonio Conte following the mutual termination of his contract, emphasizing the coach's decisive role in winning the Scudetto.

Speaking at the presentation of Napoli's summer training camps, the president highlighted the coach's ability to manage difficulties throughout the season: "We mustn't forget Conte's remarkable ability to deal with any setbacks that may arise. This year there have been numerous, but he has always risen to the occasion, managing to resolve problems that seemed complicated. If we made it all the way and won the Scudetto, it's also thanks to him."

De Laurentiis then dismissed criticisms about the level of Serie A: "Some have spoken of a championship with weak teams, but that's false. It's been an incredible season, with many well-equipped teams." The president cited Bologna, Lazio, and Roma in particular, describing the Giallorossi's performance under Ranieri as "like that of a Scudetto-winning team."

Finally, a word on the scores: "The final result doesn't tell the whole story. In the past, we've won with 102 points, and we even got to 91, but I haven't seen those scores anywhere else. This demonstrates the championship's balance and competitiveness."
