Pegaso University: "We are the injured party and are ready to cooperate with the judiciary."

Pegaso Online University responds to the Naples prosecutor's investigation, specifying that it has initiated internal checks and is fully cooperating with the authorities and the ministry.

Pegaso Online University has officially stated its position regarding the investigation launched by the Naples prosecutor's office, involving approximately 40 people under investigation for irregularities in enrollment in professional training courses. In a statement released today, the University clarified that it has independently initiated an internal audit aimed at protecting academic quality and institutional integrity.

The audit uncovered isolated cases dating back several years, involving a limited number of former employees and students, some of whom allegedly provided false statements. Pegaso emphasizes that it considers itself an injured party in the proceedings and has already removed the employees involved following internal investigations and disciplinary proceedings.

The statement also highlights that the University has been the victim of cyber attacks in the past, which were reported to the competent authorities, and that, over time, advanced technologies have been adopted to prevent student misconduct. Pegaso reaffirms its commitment to fully cooperating with the judicial authorities and the Ministry, guaranteeing transparency and willingness to support ongoing investigations.
