The FP CGIL, CISL FP, and UIL FP trade unions are appealing to the President of the Campania Region to resolve the impasse regarding the accreditation system for private healthcare facilities, following months of stalled negotiations.

Private healthcare in Campania: unions ask President Fico to hold an urgent roundtable on accreditation.
Naples – The trade unions FP CGIL, CISL FP, and UIL FP have made a joint appeal to the President of the Campania Region, Roberto Fico, requesting an urgent meeting to discuss the sensitive issue of accreditation of private healthcare and social care facilities.
The request, made in a joint statement also sent to regional health officials, emphasizes the essential need for the President of the Regional Council to attend in person to overcome the current stalemate.
The debate on the accreditation system, launched with formal meetings on March 11, March 30, and April 27, had shown initial signs of constructive discussion regarding the sector's critical issues and potential reforms. However, according to unions Marco D'Acunto (FP CGIL), Ciro Maraniello (CISL FP), and Rachele Palma (UIL FP), to date, this has not translated into concrete interventions or operational measures, resulting in a stalemate that risks compromising service planning and the protection of employed personnel.
The organizations also complain that, despite agreements for periodic meetings, no further meetings have been convened since the last meeting on April 27, thus interrupting a crucial dialogue. For this reason, the unions reiterate the urgency of a negotiating table with the direct participation of Roberto Fico, which they define as essential to overcoming the unresolved issues and definitively closing the outstanding points.
The note concludes with the hope for a prompt response and the immediate activation of the discussion group, emphasizing that swift decisions are essential to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of the accreditation system in Campania's private healthcare system.
