Ercolano, seven homemade explosive devices discovered in a home: 53-year-old arrested by Carabinieri

Herculaneum – A routine check turned into a major arrest for the Carabinieri of the Ercolano police station, who discovered seven homemade explosive devices hidden inside a private residence. The owner, a 53-year-old man, was arrested and placed under house arrest on charges of illegal possession of explosives.

The artifacts, weighing approximately 50 grams each, were stored without any precautions and, according to investigators, could have caused serious damage to people and property, gutting a room and causing serious injuries.
