The Pietrarsa Railway Museum will also be open at night for summer 2026.

Naples – The National Railway Museum in Pietrarsa is expanding its summer hours, opening its doors in the evenings starting next Friday. This new addition allows visitors to immerse themselves in an evocative atmosphere, amidst the sunset lights and breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples. The initiative follows the success of the exhibition "Vintage Vibes: Passions on Wheels" and the record-breaking participation in the European Museum Night, which confirmed the growing appeal of the site managed by the FS Italiane Foundation.

During the summer season, the Museum will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the option of evening tours from Wednesday through Sunday. Visitors can not only admire the prestigious collections of historic locomotives and carriages, but also enjoy moments of relaxation and conviviality on the sea-view terraces, accompanied by specialties from the Terrazze Pietrarsa bistro and pizzeria , which offer traditional local flavors.

The summer calendar is packed with cultural and musical events, including the "Binario Rosa" festival and the "Concerti al Tramonto" jazz concerts. Furthermore, to make travel easier, a free shuttle service will be available on weekends and holidays from Naples Central Station (Metropark bus terminal), included in the price of the admission ticket.
