fatal motocross accident
Paupisi – A sudden tragedy has shocked the community of Paupisi. Manuel, who would have turned sixteen in just twenty days, lost his life last night in a horrific accident on his dirt bike.
The dynamics of the accident are still being investigated by law enforcement.
According to initial reports, the young man was riding near the town's school when, for reasons yet to be determined, he lost control of his vehicle, crashing first into a railing and then violently impacting a wall. Upon impact, the motorcycle fell into a nearby embankment, while the boy's lifeless body lay on the asphalt. Emergency services arrived on the scene to no avail.
The young man's body was transferred to the morgue of the San Pio Hospital in Benevento for routine examinations. This morning, following an external examination conducted by coroner Emilio D'Oro on behalf of Public Prosecutor Maria Dolores De Gaudio, the Prosecutor's Office issued the authorization, returning the body to the family for a funeral.
Manuel attended the Industrial Institute of Benevento and was well-known and appreciated in the village for his cheerful disposition and active participation in community initiatives. He leaves behind his father, an IT expert, his mother, a teacher, and an older brother.
The tragedy leaves a profound void in Paupisi, a town already shaken by other tragic events in recent months. Among the most painful coincidences recalled by residents in recent hours is the special bond between Manuel and Francesco, the twenty-six-year-old local man who died in a car accident in the San Vito district last February: two close friends, united by a great passion for life and now bound by the same tragic fate.
