Carabinieri raid in Pozzuoli: 7 reported and dozens fined.

Pozzuoli – The Carabinieri continue their relentless patrols on the streets of Pozzuoli. During a large-scale operation, law enforcement officers identified 68 people and checked 30 vehicles, issuing 30 traffic tickets. The personal use of narcotics is also under scrutiny, with 13 people reported to the Prefecture.

The checks also included three businesses and a parking lot in the area. At the end of the checks, seven people were reported. Among them, a 50-year-old man, a 22-year-old youth, and a 17-year-old minor were caught driving without a license, with a two-year criminal record.

Additionally, a 55-year-old woman was charged with driving under the influence, as were a 45-year-old man and an 18-year-old boy, both found in possession of 13- and 15-centimeter knives, respectively, on charges of illegal possession of weapons.

Finally, a 53-year-old Ghanaian citizen was reported for his illegal presence in Italy. This operation confirms the law enforcement's constant commitment to maintaining security and public order in Pozzuoli.
