Maddaloni, Carabinieri checks: one arrest, six complaints, and one drug-related tip-off.

On the evening of September 10, 2026, the Carabinieri of the Maddaloni Company carried out a coordinated operation across the municipal area and surrounding areas, aimed at preventing and combating crime and ensuring traffic safety.

During the operation, the military made an arrest, reported six people at large, and reported a citizen to the competent administrative authority for possession of narcotics for personal use.

A 32-year-old man from Maddaloni, previously under house arrest, was arrested and given an aggravated precautionary measure, reinstating his pre-trial detention. He must serve a remaining sentence of two years, two months, and seven days for domestic abuse committed in Maddaloni in 2025. Following the formalities, he was transferred to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, where he will be held by the judicial authorities.

The six complaints at large concern, according to what was communicated:

• a 35-year-old man originally from Maddaloni and resident in Caivano, reported for failing to stop when ordered by the military while riding a motorcycle;
• a 78-year-old man from Valle di Maddaloni, held responsible for violating urban planning regulations for building a shed without a building permit;
• a 56-year-old from Naples, reported for alleged violations of the obligations relating to the custody of a motorcycle subject to administrative seizure;
• two people reported for driving without a license they never obtained: a 28-year-old originally from Mugnano di Napoli (residing in Castello di Cisterna) and a 37-year-old originally from Torre del Greco (residing in Somma Vesuviana);
• a 28-year-old resident of Acerra, also found driving without ever having obtained a license.

Regarding drug dealing and consumption, the military reported to the competent administrative authority a 36-year-old man originally from and resident in Benevento, found in possession of approximately 3,5 grams of marijuana, which was seized and held pending further proceedings.

During the operation, a total of 123 vehicle checks were carried out, 161 people were identified, and 124 reports were issued for violations of the Highway Code.

The service is part of the Maddaloni Company's daily territorial control activities, aimed at strengthening prevention, detecting illegal situations, and ensuring greater community safety.
