Rome – Emma Bonino passed away this morning in Rome at the age of 78. The historic Radical figure had been admitted to the Santo Spirito Hospital in the capital on September 7th due to worsening health.

After a brief stay in intensive care, she was transferred to a private facility in agreement with her family and medical staff, in a clinical situation that immediately appeared extremely delicate.
