Naples: Drug dealing ring dismantled in Bagnoli: 3 arrests

Naples – Carabinieri from the local company's Operations Unit conducted an anti-drug operation in the Bagnoli neighborhood. Three people were arrested.

The raid took place during the night. The Carabinieri entered an apartment on Via Plinio and surprised the three men inside. They attempted to get rid of the drugs, breaking the cocaine packages and throwing them into the air. The mother of one of the arrested men attacked a soldier, grabbing him by the neck. The intervention of other Carabinieri restored calm.

The three were arrested. 220 grams of cocaine, 6 grams of marijuana, 7 narcotic-laced cigarettes, and packaging materials were seized.

Those arrested are Christian Maiorino, 19; Publio Mazzi, 20; and Carlo Paesano, 21. They were transferred to prison, while the woman was charged.
