Carabinieri from the Napoli-Stella Company, during a patrol in the Pendino neighborhood, noticed a 28-year-old man, already known to law enforcement, exchanging a small bag for money in Vico Soprammuro.
Upon seeing the officers, the dealer attempted to flee, but was caught and arrested. The Carabinieri found on the 28-year-old six packets of crack, approximately one gram of marijuana, and €50 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of the illegal activity.
The man was arrested and faces charges of drug possession with intent to distribute. He is currently in jail awaiting trial.
