Naples Weather July 30st
The fourth heat wave of the summer is once again making its effects felt forcefully in Campania. Today, Thursday, July 30th, will be characterized by stable and mostly sunny weather across the region, with temperatures rising sharply and a level of discomfort accentuated by humidity.
According to the latest weather forecast, Naples will remain clear or partly cloudy throughout the day. Temperatures will range from 26-27 degrees Celsius in the early morning and reach 35-36 degrees Celsius in the early afternoon, with a perceived high of around 38 degrees Celsius. Winds will be light, mostly breezes, while the sea will be calm.
Rising temperatures have led the Ministry of Health to classify Naples among the cities with an orange warning, a level indicating weather conditions potentially hazardous to health, especially for the elderly, children, vulnerable individuals, and those with chronic conditions. The City of Naples has also reiterated its recommendations to the public, urging them to follow heatstroke prevention measures.
The heat wave will affect the entire region. Coastal areas will only partially benefit from the sea breeze, while inland areas of Caserta, Benevento, Irpinia, and Salerno, temperatures may be even higher during the central hours of the day.
Weather conditions will remain stable, with no precipitation and generally clear skies. The heat will continue to be felt through the night, with lows unlikely to drop below 25-26 degrees Celsius along the coast.
Experts recommend avoiding direct sun exposure between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., drinking water frequently even when not thirsty, eating light meals, and wearing light-colored, breathable clothing. Particular attention should be paid to vulnerable people and pets, who should not be left in cars or exposed to the sun for extended periods.
Forecasts indicate that the intense heat will continue in the coming days, with temperatures expected to remain well above seasonal averages and values that, in some areas of Central-Southern Italy, could approach 40 degrees.
