NAPLES – Local police conducted extensive checks in the Poggioreale neighborhood, where officers from the Territorial Intervention Group conducted a series of traffic checks, uncovering several irregularities and even recovering a stolen vehicle.
The operation took place in Piazza Francesco Coppola, where a total of 30 vehicles were checked. During the investigation, 15 traffic violations were reported, including lack of insurance, driving without a license or with a suspended license, failure to have vehicle inspections, failure to display registration documents, and driving without a helmet.
Following the investigations, several measures were taken, including administrative detentions, administrative and criminal seizures, and the placement of a vehicle in custody. Three vehicles were also suspended from circulation because they did not meet the requirements set by current legislation.
During the operation, the officers also confiscated a driving license, recovered a stolen car, and reported a person to the judicial authorities for the violations found.
The checks are part of the local police's efforts to prevent and combat traffic violations in the city, ensuring greater road safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
