3.133 New State Police Officers Received Badges: Ready to Enter Service
A key career milestone for 3.133 young Italian police officers was celebrated today with the presentation of their badges during an official ceremony. The new officers, members of the 233rd Italian State Police training course, received this distinctive symbol, marking their transition from student officers to probationary officers.
The ceremony featured a particularly significant moment when the top-ranked graduates from the 13 training schools were received by the Chief of Police and Director General of Public Security, Prefect Vittorio Pisani. Prefect Pisani, in the presence of Tiziana Terribile, Director of the State Police Schools Inspectorate, personally presented the braids to the new recruits, emphasizing the importance of their role in the country's security.
At the same time, similar ceremonies were held at each of the 13 training schools—including Abbasanta, Alessandria, Campobasso, Caserta, Cesena, Peschiera del Garda, Pescara, Piacenza, Brescia, Nettuno, Spoleto, Trieste, and Vibo Valentia—attended by family and friends, a testament to the support and pride that accompany this important milestone.
Now, with the next official swearing-in, the new agents will be assigned to departments located throughout the country, ready to enter operational service and contribute to security and public order in Italy.
