Pianura, "I need twenty minutes": wiretaps have caught the Visionario clan.

Naples – Outside, backpack-clad kids bustle about, heading to classes at the two high schools in Pianura. A few meters away, protected by armored doors and state-of-the-art security cameras, lies the beating heart of the "bunker": one of the most thriving drug dealing hubs in the western suburbs of Naples.

A ruthless criminal machine, capable of recruiting minors as lookouts or couriers and defending its territory with brutal violence, applying the unwritten laws of the Camorra to the first person who tried to interfere with the business of Via Torricelli.
This is the disturbing scenario revealed at dawn yesterday by the Carabinieri of the Bagnoli Operational Unit, coordinated by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate.

The investigation led to ten precautionary measures, dismantling the historic drug dealing hub once co-managed by Salvatore D'Anna, known as the "Visionary," and his namesake Pasquale D'Anna, known as "oino," born in 1990. However, his fate was prematurely sealed on March 2, 2025, when he was killed in a live-fire attack in Piazzale Tecchio, the heart of Fuorigrotta.

The drug code: "Bring me the raw, I need it cooked."

It wasn't easy for the Carabinieri to penetrate the group's dense communications network. The suspects, aware of being under law enforcement scrutiny, had developed a cryptic vocabulary to hijack the phones under surveillance. But wiretaps and phone calls ultimately betrayed them.

In the conversations recorded by investigators, the goods were never referred to by their proper names.
“Listen, that customer needs raw cocaine,” one of the dealers said on the phone, referring to the ultra-pure cocaine still to be cut.
“No, I only have cooked today, tell him to wait,” the interlocutor replied, referring to crack, the deadly substance obtained by cooking the white powder with bicarbonate or ammonia.
Even the quantities were disguised by the passage of time. To order doses, the group's couriers used the term "minutes."

“I need twenty minutes right now,” one of the retailers urged on the phone.
"Be careful, move slowly. I only have seventeen available at the moment," replied the bunker guard, weighing the doses to be delivered to the milligram before customers began flooding the phones with complaints.

The "McDonald's of Dust" and Home Delivery

The investigation began in August 2024 thanks to the courage of several teachers and parents at the neighborhood schools. Tired of seeing young people acting suspiciously during student arrival and departure times, they reported the situation to the Carabinieri. From there, a meticulous effort of stakeouts, tailing, and hidden cameras began.

The officers discovered that the drugs were being traded on two parallel lines. On one side, retail sales were conducted from the armored bunker on Via Torricelli; on the other, a modern and efficient home delivery service, with deliveries reaching even municipalities in the province. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the scooter deliveries were managed by Luigi Agnino, known as "Giggino," and Francesco Ricchiuti. A true express delivery service for cocaine, crack, hashish, and marijuana.

The politician's beating: thirty days of prognosis for a precedence

But what defines the criminal depth of the gang and justifies the aggravating circumstance of the mafia method is a brutal episode that occurred on October 22, 2024. Near the drug dealing square, a minor road accident occurs involving the son of Giuseppe Gaetano, a municipal councilor representing the Brothers of Italy party.

The politician rushes to the scene to defend his son and clarify the circumstances of the accident, but finds himself confronted by the local police. For the "Visionario" gang, the street discussion is an intolerable disturbance, a spotlight on the bunker's dirty dealings. Their reaction is swift and merciless: Gaetano is surrounded, insulted, and savagely beaten before being forcibly removed from the area. This punitive beating will cost him a thirty-day prognosis for his injuries. It sends a clear message to the entire neighborhood: they're the ones in charge on Via Torricelli.
