Naples – He allegedly punched a resident doctor in the Obstetrics department of the Federico II Polyclinic, complaining about an alleged lack of attention towards his wife, who was hospitalized in her ninth month of pregnancy.
The incident occurred yesterday evening. Carabinieri from the Vomero mobile patrol responded to the scene and arrested a 26-year-old Neapolitan man on charges of assaulting healthcare workers.
The attacked doctor suffered injuries that were expected to heal within ten days. Following the formal procedures, the young man was placed under house arrest, pending judicial review.
