Overnight, officers from the Sorrento Police Station arrested a 39-year-old man in Massa Lubrense, executing a European arrest warrant issued by German authorities.
The operation was carried out after an inspection of a local accommodation facility, triggered by an alert in the guest reporting systems. The man is accused of tax evasion and was arrested with a view to his possible handover to the foreign authorities who issued the order.
