Tragedy in Cilento: A tractor overturns, killing a 70-year-old man.

Agropoli – More bloodshed in the countryside of the province of Salerno. A 70-year-old man tragically lost his life in a serious farming accident in Campanina, a rural area on the border between the municipalities of Agropoli and Ogliastro Cilento.

According to initial reports, the man was driving his tractor, busy with his usual work on his land, when the heavy vehicle suddenly overturned, leaving him no chance of escape.

The victim's family members were the ones who activated the emergency response. Concerned by the man's prolonged silence and the inability to contact him by phone, they raised the alarm, fearing that something serious might have happened to him.

Unfortunately, upon their arrival at the scene of the accident, the 118 paramedics could only confirm the death of the 70-year-old, whose injuries proved fatal.

Law enforcement responded promptly to the scene to conduct investigations and reconstruct the exact circumstances of the tragedy. Investigators are currently pursuing all avenues. Among the most likely theories is an accidental rollover caused by the particularly steep terrain, which would have compromised the stability of the agricultural vehicle.

However, the possibility that the man may have suffered a fatal illness while driving, thus losing control of the tractor, has not been ruled out.
