The Municipality of Pozzuoli provides an update on the situation in the Phlegraean Fields: 125 buildings evacuated, nearly 2000 people assisted, and hundreds of families evacuated due to bradyseism.

Pozzuoli – The bradyseismic emergency in the Phlegraean Fields continues, significantly impacting the population of Pozzuoli. According to the latest update from the Municipality, 125 buildings in the city have been evacuated, affecting a total of 729 families, for a total of 1.995 people receiving assistance.
Most of the displaced people, approximately 1.843, have found independent accommodation, while 85 people are housed in hotels and 67 are being hosted at the PalaTrincone reception centre.
There have been 780 requests for the Independent Accommodation Grant (CAS), involving 2.033 people, including 376 over 65 and 335 with disabilities. The Municipality has also clarified that the CAS can be requested even without an eviction order, if the need to leave the home is confirmed by a recording from the Fire Department.
The situation remains under close monitoring by the authorities, with the aim of ensuring safety and support for residents affected by the instability in the area.
