A 31-year-old man from Agropoli ends up in prison after mistreating his mother and sister and attacking the Carabinieri who intervened to arrest him.


Agropoli: Man arrested for domestic abuse and assault on Carabinieri
In Agropoli, in the Salerno area, a 31-year-old man was arrested on charges of domestic violence, extortion, and resisting a public official. According to the Carabinieri investigation, the man repeatedly abused his mother and sister, threatening and physically assaulting them, as well as damaging furniture and furnishings in the home.
During the last police intervention, the man resisted arrest, throwing objects such as a table and a chair at the Carabinieri. While attempting to avoid the blows, one officer fell without sustaining any injuries.
The preliminary investigations judge validated the arrest and ordered the 31-year-old's pre-trial detention, recognizing the serious risk to the victims and to public order.
