During a traffic stop in Licola, the Carabinieri discovered a man in possession of drugs and an illegal weapon, with bullets hidden among his clothes at home.

A 60-year-old man was arrested in Naples with a gun and ammunition hidden in his closet.
During a traffic check in Licola, a hamlet of Naples, the Carabinieri stopped a 60-year-old man already known to the police.
The man was found in possession of one gram of cocaine. A search of his home revealed a .22 caliber pistol with a scratched serial number and a damaged thread, hidden among his clothes in a closet. Seven rounds of ammunition were also seized.
The weapon will undergo ballistic tests to determine whether it was used in criminal acts. The man was arrested for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition. Now it's necessary to determine the weapon's provenance and its use by the 60-year-old. Or, if it was used as what is known in criminal jargon as a "sheath," meaning a custodian on someone's behalf.
