Pozzuoli: Work begins on the operational hub on Via Artiaco.

In the heart of the Phlegraean Fields, in Pozzuoli, preliminary work has begun to set up a strategic operations hub on Via Artiaco, destined to become a hub for emergency management and the needs of the local community.

The initiative, strongly supported by the Campania Region and the Municipality of Pozzuoli, took shape during a meeting at the Municipal Operations Center (COC), attended by the President of the Region, Roberto Fico, the Councilor for Civil Protection, Fiorella Zabatta, and the Mayor, Luigi Manzoni.

The initial activities involve mowing and cleaning the area between Via Artiaco and Via Campana, entrusted to the regional in-house company, Sma Campania spa. These preparatory works are essential to restore accessibility and prepare the area for the subsequent phases of landscaping.

Palazzo Santa Lucia underlined that the start of the works was possible thanks to effective institutional collaboration and an acceleration of the administrative procedures, demonstrating how the joint commitment between the Council and regional offices can translate into concrete actions for the territory.

The goal is to provide the area with an operational hub capable of rapidly coordinating responses to any emergencies, thus strengthening the safety and resilience of the Campi Flegrei population.

This project represents an important step in enhancing local infrastructure, with a keen eye on the protection and well-being of the Pozzuoli community.
