Aversa, caught dumping construction waste, car seized and license revoked

In the Cappuccini area of ​​Aversa, an area recently cleared of enormous quantities of waste thanks to the cleanup operation coordinated by General Commissioner Giuseppe Vadalà, the phenomenon of illegal dumping continues to recur.

Despite intense checks by the Carabinieri, Army, and Local Police and the severe penalties provided, some continue to defy the rules.

The blitz in broad daylight

This afternoon, officers from the Marcianise Carabinieri Forestry Unit intercepted a man dumping bulky hazardous waste on the lot, transported on the roof rack of a Fiat Idea. The waste was non-hazardous, presumably from building renovations.

Seizure and reports

The Carabinieri immediately seized the vehicle used for transportation and reported the perpetrator to the judicial authorities. The man is charged with dumping non-hazardous special waste on bare ground and transporting it using a vehicle not registered in the National Register of Environmental Managers.

License withdrawn, risk of suspension

As an additional sanction provided by law, the officers confiscated the driver's license. The Prefecture of Caserta may order the suspension of the license for up to nine months. This operation confirms the constant vigilance of the Cappuccini area, undergoing a major environmental cleanup, and reaffirms the institutions' commitment to combating all forms of illegal waste management.
