The Vairano Patenora Forestry Police have identified and reported three people for illegally dumping waste along municipal roads in Caianello, intensifying checks with video surveillance systems.

Three people were reported for illegal waste disposal in Caianello by the Carabinieri Forestale.
The Carabinieri Forestali (Forestry Police) unit of Vairano Patenora continues its relentless efforts to combat illegal waste dumping in the Caserta area. In the municipality of Caianello, during specific inspections, two separate operations resulted in the reporting of three people caught dumping unsorted municipal solid waste along municipal roadsides in isolated areas.
In the first incident, a man and a woman were stopped while unloading a 50-liter plastic bag from the trunk of a Volkswagen Polo. In the second incident, another man, also driving the same model, abandoned two 30-liter black bags containing waste.
The investigation also utilized hidden video surveillance equipment, which allowed the actions to be documented and the perpetrators to be identified with certainty. In addition to the criminal charges for illegal waste disposal, all three had their driving licenses revoked, resulting in suspensions of four to six months, a measure ordered by the Caserta Prefecture.
The initiative is part of a broader plan to monitor the area to preserve its decency and environmental protection, but the phenomenon of illegal dumping, often committed even by apparently law-abiding individuals, remains a complex problem to address.
