A breakdown has caused the closure of the Torre Annunziata-Villa Regina and Torre Annunziata-Boscotrecase lines on the Circumvesuviana, adding to the work currently blocking the line between Barra and Torre del Greco.

Circumvesuviana: A breakdown interrupts two lines; buses have been replaced.
A sudden breakdown has caused the suspension of rail service on two sections of the Circumvesuviana: the one between Torre Annunziata and Villa Regina and the one between Torre Annunziata and Boscotrecase.
The announcement was made by the Ente Autonomo Volturno, which has ordered the early termination of train services from Sorrento and Poggiomarino to Villa Regina and Boscotrecase, respectively. Replacement buses will depart from these interruption points, connecting passengers to Torre Annunziata and from there to Naples, making all intermediate stops.
This issue is compounded by ongoing work in the Bosco di Portici and Cavalli di Bronzo tunnels, which will result in a complete closure of traffic between Barra and Torre del Greco until tomorrow. Delays of approximately twenty minutes are already being reported on the Sorrento-Villa Regina route. Passengers are advised to consider potential inconvenience and plan for longer travel times.
