Euro 2032: 13 Italian cities submit documentation to host the continental tournament.

The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has received applications from 13 Italian cities with 16 stadiums to host Euro 2032. The technical analysis of UEFA's requirements for selecting the official venues has now begun.

The race to host the 2032 European Football Championship is in full swing. By July 31, the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has completed the collection of technical documentation from 13 Italian cities bidding to host the prestigious continental competition. The cities involved are Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Florence, Genoa, Lecce, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Rome, Salerno, Turin, and Verona, with a total of 16 stadiums submitted.

The process now includes a phase of in-depth technical analysis of the dossiers to verify compliance with UEFA standards in terms of infrastructure, authorizations, financial sustainability, and organizational capacity. The FIGC thanked the government, local administrations, sports clubs, and institutional bodies for the fruitful collaboration demonstrated thus far.

In the coming months, discussions between the Federation and the stakeholders will continue to refine the dossiers and prepare the final list of Italian candidates. The final selection of venues to be proposed to UEFA is expected by October 1, 2026, in accordance with the timetable established by the official selection process.
