Police have intensified checks in the Spanish Quarter: 241 people identified and 51 vehicles inspected.
As part of an intensified security operation, Naples law enforcement agencies have focused their attention on the Spanish Quarter and Porta Capuana. Yesterday, State Police officers, supported by members of the Guardia di Finanza, local police personnel, and ASL NA 1 Centro, conducted an extraordinary patrol to monitor the area.
During the operations, 133 people were identified, 39 of whom had criminal records, while 64 vehicles were inspected. Law enforcement issued seven fines for traffic violations.
Attention was also paid to commercial establishments: 13 were inspected, with some owners being issued with warnings for various irregularities. One shop, in particular, was fined approximately €1.000 for serious health and hygiene violations.
The joint action of the various forces demonstrates the ongoing commitment to ensuring greater safety and compliance with regulations in Naples' historic areas.
