Intesa Sanpaolo is allocating €100 million to support families and businesses in the Phlegraean Fields.

Naples – Following the recent seismic events that affected Pozzuoli and the Campi Flegrei area, Intesa Sanpaolo announces an extraordinary €100 million loan to support families, businesses, small artisans, retailers, agribusinesses, and non-profit organizations affected by the earthquake. The financing, provided by the banking group, aims to provide immediate support through new lines of credit at favorable terms.

Among the measures adopted is the possibility for affected families and businesses to suspend principal payments on existing mortgages and loans for up to 24 months. Furthermore, for one year, the commission on POS transactions up to €20 will be eliminated, thus facilitating payment transactions for local merchants.

Giuseppe Nargi, regional director for Campania, Calabria, and Sicily at Intesa Sanpaolo, emphasized the importance of the initiative: "Our closeness and solidarity translate into concrete actions. Intesa Sanpaolo stands with the many families and businesses in the Phlegraean Fields affected by the earthquake, providing €100 million for new financing and offering the option of suspending existing payments for up to 24 months."

To facilitate requests and provide assistance, the bank has extended the operating hours of its Digital Branch, also open on weekends from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, with the toll-free number 800.303.303 and the Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile app, in addition to traditional physical and digital channels.
