Michele Corvino, aka Daytona KK
Milan – A night spent away from home, just steps from the train station, without any authorization or justification to provide to the police. The legal troubles of Michele Corvino, 31, known in the music scene by his stage name Daytona KK, have worsened.
The trapper from Casal di Principe, who has been active in the hip-hop scene for years with two albums under his belt and tens of thousands of streams on streaming platforms, was arrested by the State Police on charges of evading house arrest.
The arrest took place on the night between August 6th and 7th. Officers from the General Prevention Office of the Milan Police Headquarters spotted the 31-year-old around 1:30 a.m. in Piazza Bottini, right in front of the Lambrate train station. When asked to explain his presence on the street at that hour, Corvino was unable to provide any valid reason.
Since he was placed under house arrest, the artist whose songs include Pickup and Ferro Sporco were immediately reinstated in custody, and the judicial authorities were informed of the incident for further action.
The episode represents only the latest chapter in a criminal case that began in 2025. During a check by the Milan Flying Squad on Via Bolzano, in the Turro district, the trapper was stopped on board his Audi Q2.
Subsequent searches, which included the artist's home, led to the discovery and seizure of a large quantity of narcotics: nearly six kilograms of hashish and marijuana, as well as 200 grams of wax (an extract with a high concentration of THC) and several hundred euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
In October 2025, the preliminary hearing judge of the Milan Court sentenced him, in a fast-track trial, to three years in prison and a €6.000 fine for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. At the same time, the judge ordered his pre-trial detention replaced with house arrest. The musician has now reportedly violated this concession by fleeing to Lambrate one night.
