Train chaos: Trains blocked on the Naples-Rome line due to a protest at Latina station.

Naples – Severe disruptions due to the blockage of train traffic on the Naples-Rome line. Due to the presence of people on the tracks at Latina station, train traffic was severely delayed, with passengers stranded for approximately two hours.

The disruptions particularly affected a regional train departing from Rome Termini and bound for Scauri di Minturno, carrying dozens of elderly people and children. The train was stopped at Campoleone for about two hours, and passengers were trapped inside without water or information about the blockade.

After restarting, the train stopped again at Cisterna station. The railway police arrived on site to investigate and restore safety on the route.

Rail traffic was gradually reactivated after the completion of the work.
