Firefighters continue to work in the Phlegraean Fields, with 1.489 interventions carried out so far, including stability checks and evacuations, in response to the bradyseismic crisis affecting over a thousand homes.

The bradyseism emergency in the Phlegraean Fields and Naples area is resulting in a massive deployment of forces and resources. As of 8:00 a.m. today, 1.489 firefighter interventions have been recorded, with a significant focus on building stability checks, totaling 812. The situation has led to the evacuation of 215 buildings and the adoption of measures for 1.085 homes affected by the seismic crisis.
To address the situation, 11 specialized units are active, conducting rapid safety checks on buildings and assessing any temporary work on public structures, places of worship, and protected assets. These units include three Mo.Recs units from the Campania regional commands, four from the Naples provincial command, and one from the regional fire department, supported by specialized equipment such as ladder trucks, platforms, and emergency communications units.
At the same time, 10 teams are dedicated to recovering household goods from the affected homes, while the overall deployment in the area comprises 20 operational teams. Currently, three interventions remain pending, demonstrating the complexity and continuity of the ongoing operations.
