The Rescue Coordination Center, led by the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, continues to monitor the situation in collaboration with the national and regional Civil Protection agencies, firefighters, and local governments.

At the same time, a meeting is being planned to discuss the future of the Camaldoli tunnels on the Circumflegrea line and the Monte Olibano tunnel on the Cumana line, currently experiencing delays and service suspensions.

The Ente Autonomo Volturno (EAV) is accelerating the work, aiming to restore connections by the second half of September. In the meantime, replacement bus services will be maintained and, where possible, expanded to ensure commuter mobility.

Attention remains high to ensure the safety and assistance of the population, while efforts are underway to return to normalcy in the Campi Flegrei area.
