Pozzuoli's mayor, Luigi Manzoni, confirmed the regular reopening of municipal schools by mid-September, with some temporary exceptions for the gymnasium and auditorium of some schools.

Pozzuoli: Schools are ready to reopen on September 15th, excluding the Marconi complex, which is undergoing reorganization.
The Municipality of Pozzuoli has ensured the reopening of all school buildings under its jurisdiction by September 15th, the scheduled start of the school year in Campania. Mayor Luigi Manzoni provided an update on the situation, presenting the results of the technical inspections conducted after the July 31st earthquake.
The only exception is the Marconi school, whose classes will be temporarily relocated to other locations within the comprehensive school: the elementary school to the Diano school and the preschool to the Rosini school. Meanwhile, the gymnasium and auditorium at the Quasimodo/Collodi and Borsellino schools will remain closed until safety measures are completed, scheduled for October 10th.
The mayor specified that minor non-structural work is underway to ensure a safe return to school for students and families. The municipal administration continues to monitor and address the critical issues that emerged following the earthquake, reaffirming its commitment to protecting the school community.
