Pozzuoli, merchants mobilize: "Taxes must be suspended immediately."

New mobilization among merchants in Pozzuoli. Local businesses are once again demanding concrete action and have set a specific goal: obtaining the immediate suspension of taxes for local businesses.

The meeting is scheduled for today at 3:30 PM in Piazza De Curtis, Monterusciello, in front of the Bar Buono. From there, a delegation will depart for the Municipal Operations Center on Via Elio Vittorini, where the meeting with the mayor is scheduled.

The retailers' request is limited to the tax issue. "We're focusing solely on this point; we'll address the others at upcoming meetings," the initiative's promoters explained, reiterating the need for an immediate response.

The protest follows a series of initiatives through which merchants and residents have already achieved some results. Among these, organizers note the start of construction at the hub on Via Artiaco and the involvement of the population in discussions on amending the decree.

The focus now shifts to taxes. The delegation aims to obtain a measure from the Municipality that could ease the tax burden on local businesses, at a particularly delicate time for the Pozzuoli area.
