Sant'Arpino: Four undeclared workers and serious irregularities discovered at a construction site.

Sant'Arpino – A targeted inspection to combat illegal work and ensure safety on construction sites has uncovered serious irregularities at a construction site in Sant'Arpino. The operation, conducted by the local Carabinieri station in collaboration with the Caserta Labor Inspectorate and technical staff from the Territorial Labor Inspectorate, led to the discovery of four workers employed illegally, without the required prior notification.

The inspections also revealed a lack of health and safety training, the absence of required health surveillance, and a failure to update the Operational Safety Plan (POS). Consequently, the owners of two companies involved were reported for multiple violations of labor and safety regulations, resulting in the immediate suspension of business operations.

The administrative fines imposed amount to approximately €27.800, and the documents have been forwarded to the competent judicial and administrative authorities for further action. This action demonstrates the ongoing commitment of the Carabinieri and inspection agencies to protecting workers, preventing exploitation, and promoting a culture of legality in the construction sector.
