Simone Cristicchi in Agerola: twenty years of music and lyrics in the name of Salvatore Di Giacomo

Agerola - A twenty-year career condensed into a single, intense stage experience. Tonight at 21:00 PM, Simone Cristicchi will headline the Sui Sentieri degli Dei festival in Agerola, the festival that brings the splendid setting of the Upper Amalfi Coast to life, now in its 15th year.

At the Colonia Montana Park, during an evening hosted by Gianmaurizio Foderaro, the Roman artist will present his show "A-LIVE": a journey through memory lane that intertwines music, storytelling, and social commitment.

A journey through his greatest hits and his role as a "singer-actor"

The evening's setlist will span the milestones of her artistic output: from her early hits like Studentessa universitaria and Meno male (che c'è Carla Bruni), through the masterpiece Ti regalerò una rosa and the more recent Quando sarai piccola, up to the intimate atmospheres of the album Dalle tenebre alla luce.

Cristicchi will confirm his authenticity as a "singer-actor," alternating comic, poetic, and deeply emotionally reflective registers. Giving form and substance to the arrangements on stage will be an exceptional trio composed of:
Riccardo Corso (guitars, mandolin and bouzouki)
Riccardo Ciaramellari (piano, accordion, and keyboards)
Antonio Iannetta (cello)
The “Salvatore Di Giacomo” Award
The evening's highlight will be the presentation of the Salvatore Di Giacomo Award to Cristicchi, named after the celebrated Neapolitan poet and playwright who drew inspiration from Agerola (author of the landmark "Luna d'Agerola"). The prize is awarded to artists who transform words and song into sublime tools for expressing the human soul.
