A chase through the streets of Naples ended with the arrest of two men charged with aggravated robbery and resisting arrest. The robbery occurred while officers were off duty, targeting a tourist.

Yesterday afternoon in Naples, on Via Marina, two men were arrested after robbing a tourist. A 37-year-old man snatched the victim's cell phone and then fled on a scooter driven by a 38-year-old accomplice.
The escape was interrupted on Via Lanzieri, where the two lost control of the vehicle and got out to continue their escape on foot.
During the scuffle with the State Police, the officers, who intervened while off duty, managed to recover the cell phone and detain the suspects despite their resistance. Both men, known to law enforcement, were charged with aggravated robbery, resisting arrest, and assaulting a public official. The phone was returned to its owner.
